Football player Maximilian Mang has signed with the Indianapolis Colts in the American National Football League (NFL). The 25-year-old from Brandenburg is the second German player in the roster of coach Shane Steichen’s team, following Marcel Dabo. Additionally, the Colts feature Austrian player Bernhard Raimann.
The 2.04-meter tall and 121-kilogram tight end Mang previously played for Syracuse University and gained experience in Germany with the Berlin Rebels and the Potsdam Royals in the German Football League. According to the team’s announcement, this signing is seen as an expansion of the Colts‘ relationships in Germany, as Indianapolis holds marketing rights in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
