Handball national player Juri Knorr is still struggling with health issues following the World Championship, rendering him unavailable to the Bundesliga team Rhein-Neckar Löwen for the time being. Coach Sebastian Hinze stated, „He still has slight complaints – and they need to go away. Otherwise, it makes no sense.“ So far, the 24-year-old has not returned to team training.
Knorr missed the main round matches against Italy and Tunisia during the World Championship due to illness and had to return to Germany for examinations. However, he did play during the quarter-final loss to Portugal.
Last year, the playmaker also missed the last two Bundesliga matches for the Löwen.
He will be absent in the Bundesliga match on Sunday against HSV Hamburg.
